Family: Tye, and his wife, Holly, have 2 daughters. Josie is 5 and Katharine is 1. They live on an acreage just east of Halstead. Tye is a farm marketer for Cargill and Holly is an RN. Toby, and his wife, Jody, have 2 children. Delaney is 4 and Brogan is 2. They live on an acreage in Greeley. Toby is Director of Operations for Epicurean Entertainment at Invesco Field and Denver Center for Performing Arts and Jody is a Veterinarian.
Chuck retired from teaching in 2000, but I am still the Chemical Hygiene specialist for the school district, and I do some substitute teaching. We still live on the farm, so my most enjoyable job is raising some livestock, planting and harvesting crops, and putting up hay. I coached and officiated football for many years, and gave that up this year. Getting too old to run down the field!!!!!!!!!!!! - and got tired of so many nights away from home in the fall.
Sue retired from teaching in 2004 and works part time in a local bank. We enjoy traveling some - we both like the ocean, so try to hit a beach once a year. We also greatly enjoy time spent with our children and grandchildren!

Children: Kathryn, who lives in Austin, Texas, and is writing her Masters thesis this year. She will go on to a Doctors program, but hasn't selected an university at this time. Her Masters is in Asian Studies with emphasis on cyberpunk and post-modern Japanese literature. She and Neil have been together 14 years, but aren't married (one just can't get these modern children to do what one wants).
I continue to practice law (but on a more limited basis) and continue to strive for balance between the law and my work as an artist. Since I downsized to an apartment (in town, rather than in the country), it's taken me months to re-organize so that the art supplies are not in the storage, and are accessible - an on-going process. I completed a painting or two recently: used oil paints in the apartment and had to open all the doors and windows to air out the place! - so I got a new easel for outdoor painting. I'm also modern. I have a blog on which I mostly write to stories of a dhranstz (dragon), Zeditha, who can change her shape to human.
I haven't taken any exciting trips since Dad and I went to England a couple years ago, except I did take the train back to Kansas in September, 2008. My newest project is making cloth bags to carry vegetables in from the farmers' market or the grocery so I don't have to use plastic at all. I hope to have sufficient bags by next year's farmers' market to sell them to others. They're called VEG-EZ.

I am still in Columbia, and trying to keep going. You may not know but my husband, Vince died in Dec 2003 after having a bone marrow transplant. So I try to keep busy working part time at a medicaid program for children and families and doing volunteer work and traveling to see my kids. Karen and Linda got married in 2006 (June and Sept) so that was a busy year. Linda and Dan are expecting a little one in about 2 weeks, so I will finally be a grandmother. They live in Milwaukee. Karen and John are expecting twins in April and live in Johnson City, TN and Ann just graduated from Harvard with a Masters in Public Policy and now is working in Washington DC. So you see I have some great places to go visit.
I have attached a picture of the family that was taken at my niece's wedding Molly in 2006 - yes another wedding that year. She is the daughter of my sister Jane. Jane and John and they live in Virginia Beach.

My husband Bob and I have two children--Steve and wife Christen and their girls Sabrina and Haley on the left and daughter Anne and husband Bill and their two boys Ryan and Matthew on the right. After we retired from education, we moved to Arizona, so that Bob could play golf every day. And he's doing a good job of doing just that! Bob signed me up for golf lessons, and I signed up for real estate school as soon as we got here two and a half years ago. I worked as an active agent for a year, but that was too much work for someone who is supposed to be retired, so I am a referral agent now and still trying to learn how to golf. I work part-time at a Tuesday Morning store just around the corner from our house.
Anne's family lives five miles from us. She and Bill both work for Intel. I took care of the boys three afternoons a week from January through May. Now that they are in first grade and pre-kindergarten all day, I am trying to catch up on scrapbooking, reading, yardwork, housework, going to movies and concerts, etc. (and maybe a little golf). Our son's family still lives in Golden, Colorado, where he is a research scientist for the National Renewable Energy Lab. We try to see them a few times a year.
Our whole family met in Silverton, CO, for the 4th of July. Bob and I continued on to Wyoming, Idaho, and Washington to visit friends and relatives and back through Oregon and California to be tourists and visit more relatives. Three weeks and 4,600 miles later, we are back home with triple-digit temperatures. Actually, it is very nice MOST of the time, so if anyone wants to get out of the cold and come visit, we'll leave the lights on!"
